Schema markup

Schema types most relevant to B2B SaaS pages: Organization (the company), SoftwareApplication (the product), Article (blog posts + research), FAQPage (FAQ sections), HowTo (procedural guides), Review (scan or product reviews), ItemList (leaderboard or category pages), BreadcrumbList (navigation hierarchy).

Common schema mistakes: declaring schema that does not match the visible page content (Google penalizes mismatch), embedding multiple Organization schemas across the site with conflicting properties, omitting required fields (every Review needs a reviewRating + itemReviewed), and stuffing fake reviews to game rich results.

Validate schema with Google's Rich Results Test before shipping. Pages with well-formed schema typically pick up rich-result eligibility within a single crawl cycle.

How Lytms scores it

Lytms does not score schema markup directly — it scores conversion-relevant dimensions. But the lytms.ai marketing site itself ships dense schema (Organization, SoftwareApplication, Article, FAQ, HowTo, Review, Dataset, ItemList, BreadcrumbList) as a working AEO reference implementation.
